BTCCSquare news:

Arizona-based TikTok influencer Christina Chapman has been sentenced to 102 months in prison for her role in a scheme that helped North Korean IT workers fraudulently secure remote positions at over 300 U.S. companies. The operation, which involved a 'laptop farm' in her home, facilitated the laundering of more than $17 million through stolen identities.

The Department of Justice alleges the scheme exposed sensitive industries—including aerospace and technology—to potential foreign infiltration. Chapman pleaded guilty to charges of wire fraud conspiracy, aggravated identity theft, and money laundering conspiracy. In addition to her prison term, she was ordered to forfeit $284,000 and pay $176,850 in restitution.
